Do You Use A SWOT Analysis For Your Business Strategic Planning?

SWOT Analysis_031614

When meeting with clients during a Marketing strategy session. I always ask the client for a SWOT analysis. If a client does not have one prepared, I schedule another meeting to create one together. After this task has been completed and reviewing it with the client. The SWOT analysis helps to determine where the business can improve upon in their weak areas.

All businesses should prepare a SWOT analysis and review them at least once a year. If a business is struggling in various areas such as company growth, failing to make business goals or competitive conditions. Then it should be reviewed immediately.

What is a SWOT Analysis?  It is a strategic planning tool that helps a business owner  to identify their Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. This is an excellent tool to incorporate into marketing plans and business strategies.
